The Hood Woodfired Eatery Project
Based in St Heliers, The Hood Woodfired Eatery & Bar serves some of the most delicious woodfired pizzas in Auckland — and they needed content that did justice to the craft behind every dish.
We were initially approached to produce four social media reels. We ended up producing sixteen. Once we started capturing the process — from the dough being made by hand to the pizza sliding into the roaring woodfired oven and emerging perfectly blistered — it was impossible to stop. Every moment was content gold.
The 16 reels cover food preparation, the theatre of the woodfired oven, close-up shots of the finished dishes, decor, atmosphere and the exceptional customer service that keeps diners coming back. Angus Steak House is an Auckland institution — a classic steakhouse that has been serving the CBD since 1973. When a restaurant has that kind of history, the story tells itself. Our job was to capture it on camera.
